We have just concluded the 200km Audax and 100km Populaire in Baler today. Please check the below files for the tentative results and let us know by June 20 of any comments/questions so we can double-check from our end and do the necessary adjustments before we submit the results to Paris on June 21. It doesn't reflect the elapsed time in your Strava or GPS devices.

With a 36% DNF rate for the 200km Audax, the Baler routes definitely are not for the faint-of-heart. The participants all got rained out and also suffered under the heat of the sun. It was like Mother Nature was playing tricks on all of us today. There were a few reported minor accidents as well. But the Audax spirit was still very much alive especially as we greeted those who finished just before the cut-off times. Everyone was greeting each other and are just genuinely happy to have finished such a brutal ride with good people around them. While we reported a high DNF rate for the 200km Audax, the 100km Populaire had a remarkable success rate of 92%! Watch out for these guys as they are surely ready to take on the longer distances really soon.
We would like to thank the Governor of Aurora Province, the Mayors of Baler, Casiguran and Dipaculao and the Provincial Tourism Office for the support extended. Thank you to Costa Pacifica Hotel and Cube for hosting the Audax. Thank you to El Teodoro Inn for accommodating the post-ride meals of our participants. Thank you to Ms. Jola and the rest of the DSI crew for the untiring support. And lastly, thank you to all the randonneurs who showed up in Baler this weekend. Another epic ride done and dusted! And for the fathers who rode today, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TOMORROW! All dads are cool. Cycling dads are cooler. Long-distance cycling dad are the coolest. :D
