We have just concluded the 200km Audax Iloilo and 100km Populaire. Audax Iloilo is a pre-registration ride for Paris Brest Paris 2027.  Please check the below files for the tentative results and let us know by February 25 of any comments/questions so we can double-check from our end and do the necessary adjustments before we submit the results to Paris on February 26.  You can reach us at info@audax.ph.  Let us not spam the Facebook group/page of Audax Randonneurs Philippines.  Please note that your result reflects your elapsed time = scanned time at the finish.  It doesn't reflect the elapsed time in your Strava or GPS devices.

The Audax Iloilo 200km wasn't just a ride; it was a battle against relentless headwinds, scorching heat, and daunting climbs. But beyond the physical struggle, our riders finished with something far more valuable: pure contentment and smiles that defied the fatigue. The final 30 minutes before the cutoff captured the true essence of Audax. With 20 riders still fighting toward the finish line, we witnessed the heart of the randonneur. It wasn't just about speed—it was about compassion. One incredible rider, having already secured his finish, immediately turned back to fetch a struggling friend, pacing him through the final stretch to clock in at 6:29 PM. Moments later, our final "buzzer beater" crossed at 6:30 PM sharp, fueled by the deafening cheers of friends and fellow riders. Every Audax rider carries a different strength, but they all share the same story: one of self-determination, courage, and the will to finish together.

This incredible event would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners. A massive thank you to Cycle Iloilo for welcoming Audax as a premier part of Cycle Iloilo 2026. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the Ateneo de Iloilo Alumni Association, with special thanks to Atty. Mark Gorriceta and Father Arnel Ong for their leadership and vision. Our sincere appreciation goes out to the Province of Iloilo, the Province of Antique, and Iloilo City for their hospitality and support in keeping our riders safe. Most of all, thank you to every cyclist who joined this leg. Your passion brought life to the roads of Iloilo, the City of Love. We hope you enjoyed the ride as much as we enjoyed hosting you!
