AUDAX RIDE PROCEDURE

01/27/2022 | Carmela Pearson

Now that you have registered and paid for your Audax ride, you should have received your Registration Confirmation email with your ride-specific QR Code. If you haven't received this, please let us know ASAP.  You are expected to have read through the abundant information explaining the nature of an Audax ride and the reminders/announcements shared in the Facebook page and Facebook group of Audax Randonneurs Philippines.  It’s now time to get ready for the Audax Weekend.  Please be mindful of Ride Procedure below for the Audax Weekend:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS / FAQs:

1)    What to bring to your Pre-Ride Check-In schedule?

Answer: Valid ID, soft copy or printed copy of your ride-specific QR code.  If you ordered for a laminated QR Code or other add-in merchandise from the organizers, this will be given to you during the Pre-Ride Check-In.

2)   If I register for the event and it gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, can I still get a refund?

Answer: Yes based on the Refund policy shared during registration for that ride.

3)    Why aren't Audax medals included in the registration fees?

Answer: All Audax finisher medals are standard across the globe and are all sourced from France.  We find the price of each medal quite expensive so we only put it as an option and not part of the registration fee.

4)    I can’t make it to my Pre-Ride Check-In schedule, what can I do to fulfill the Pre-Ride Check-In requirements?

Answer: Print and accomplish the Release of Liability and Assumption of Risks ARF Notarized Version.pdf.  Have this document notarized and email the notarized soft copy to info@audax.ph.  Email should be sent no later than the Thursday prior to the Audax weekend. You should receive an acknowledgment email from the organizers.  If you don’t receive any, please follow-up accordingly. Upon receiving acknowledgment from the organizers, all you have to do is show up at the Pre-Ride Check-In counter 30 minutes prior to your wave release time to test your QR code and go to your staging pen 10 minutes prior to your release time.  You can get your registration items and ordered Audax items (if there is any) after your ride.

5)    What if I'm unable to attend my committed Pre-Ride Check-In and not able to email the requirements for the Pre-Ride Check-In?

Answer: You can do the Pre-Ride Check-In the morning of your ride.  However, please expect a queue as there will be lots of you who will be processed.  Please be early.

6)    What happens if I miss my wave release time?

Answer: Approach the marshals in the staging pens so they can let you in a wave with available slots.  You will only be allowed in if you have fulfilled the Pre-Ride Check-In requirements.  The start time of your ride will be the original wave release time regardless of your actual release time.  This is also the same case pre-pandemic.
